Devil’s Tower has been a sacred site for generations. It looks soaring above among the sun, moon and stars. Devil’s Tower has been a sacred site for American Indians. People believe that the tower has been watching human beings, nature and the history there. It must be a great creation from the universe.
The sacred place is giving people and all the other creatures "Harmony" "Respect" and "Love.
Through their sacred "Pipe Ceremony", Junkyu's sculpture represented the circle of smoke ascending from a peace pipe. The peace pipe has spiritual meaning for Native Americans who consider Devils Tower a sacred mountain.
